Julio Lasky
Julio Lasky was born in Mexico City. He obtained his MBA in Business Administration from the U.N.A.M. (National Autonomous University of Mexico). Before being appointed deputy Representative for NAFTA Negotiations in August 1991, he served in several capacities in the Mexican and Canadian private sectors. As a consultant for international trade, he has represented the Mexican government at the International Trade Tribunal. After the NAFTA negotiations, Mr. Lasky joined one of Canada’s 500’s as Director for Trade Services, Mexico, where he also council and assisted an essential number of Canadian companies with regulatory issues, trade intelligence, fact-finding, and Trade intelligence of Mexico and most of Latin America.
